PDP Chairmanship: Iyorcha Ayu emerges consensus candidate

Ahmadu Fintiri, governor of Adamawa state introduced this on Thursday, October 14, 2021, after a collection of conferences by stakeholders of the celebration.

Ayu was reported to have been chosen after a former Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Shema and Senator Abdul Ningi have been requested prevailed upon to step down.

Speaking on Ayu’s emergence, Fintiri mentioned “There is not any vanquished, there isn’t a victor on this assembly, all of us got here out united.”

The PDP chairmanship election is scheduled for October 30 and 31.
