Adisa who disclaimed the commercial in a press release in Ibadan on Monday, described it as one of many antics of fake information promoters.
He added that the advert which had the image of Governor Makinde and the Nigerian flag, in addition to the image of his CPS, needs to be disregarded.
“It is the same old follow of naysayers and detractors to hunt to combine bitter grapes within the basket of fruits, at a time when well-meaning residents are celebrating the victory of the state’s soccer membership that has simply been promoted to Nigerian Premier Football League.
“Let or not it’s acknowledged clearly, nevertheless, that Governor Makinde has no hand in any such marketing campaign for the presidency, as he has at all times acknowledged that tomorrow solely belongs to God.
“It is unthinkable that the governor, who has cautioned supporters towards mounting a second time period marketing campaign for him, would launch a 2023 presidential marketing campaign at this era.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Makinde won’t change his perception that energy belongs to Almighty God and that solely God is aware of the path He is taking each of his creation,” he stated
Adisa stated the media workplace of the governor had not and wouldn’t race forward of time to advertise an ambition that the governor had not declared.
“Therefore, we urge members of the general public to disregard the fake information,” he stated.
